when i reached my forties, i became more health conscious, maybe because now i had those symptoms... : (
then i discovered the joy of running...
its been a year since i started on this passion
and i never looked back then
there wasnt a day that passed by without me running...
but lately...i have been feeling some pain..here..and ..there...
....and now on my foot....they call it plantar fasciitis...and its persistent...
....but that did not stop me from running.
i just rested but i cross trained. i bought a stationary bike and was somehow relieved of the
heel pain on my foot
i continued with my usual treadmill exercises
i realized that any form of exercise is good....cross training gives strength to my muscles for running.
i should be cautious with my bones. i know..im not getting any younger and so with my bones decalcifying
i think i should start taking supplements to keep it stronger.
now im taking calcium supplement daily.
my mother who is in her 70's had an injectable solution to make her bones stronger. its given once a year and gives protection from debilitating osteoporosis. i think it's worth the price! P23,000.00. It is given by intravenous injection administer by a nurse.
this is not an advertisment for those products...
but just a pointer to those of my age the importance of having a strong 'bulalo'.
