Silver Anniversary on our Golden Year

The Silver Jubilee celebration was such a meaningful and an epochal occasion in our lives as well as a moment of reflection and thanksgiving... and of course,  reminiscing...
for all that has been...25 years after medical school.

I had missed a lot of blog entries but suddenly I got inspired to write again.

It was a four day event that started with a medical mission and golf tournament.

Followed by convention which was held at our Alma Mater. Finally reconnected with my groupmates!

Gala Night on the third day was held at Novotel Hotel. Everyone looked radiant and stunning.

Who would think that these girls were half century old.

Such a fabulous night with great performers like Jed Madela, Sitti, Jon Santos and Jonalyn Viray.

Guys looked dapper in their suits.

I think they looked ten years younger.

Batch Night held at Quest Hotel Clark Field Pampanga.

It was such an ecstatic occasion with a medley.of emotions...  everyone flew from all parts of the globe to give in to the excitement...

Many colleagues looked like how they did 25 years ago .

if not for some greys, heftiness and of course.... wrinkles.

The batch night was a revelation, the most enjoyable part i guess..
everyone was  relaxed, delighted , with frenzied moods , and welcoming to each other.

It feels light and warm belonging with this bunch of "good ol' friends".  The reconnections were instant and you can't find loopholes distinguishing between facts and rumors.

The laughters were real, genuine and invincible and indeed contagious.  Everyone wanted to share their not-to-be forgotten moments.

We all had fond  memories of the good old days  in medical school.

It was really a nostalgic night....taking a stroll down the memory lane.

Though we had a glimpse of each other lives thru facebook still nothing comes
close to the warm hugs , jokes and camaraderie with everyone.

We all felt young as we drank and danced the night away.

The bands sang to the tune of
80's and everyone was in high spirits.

On behalf of us all... Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to
the power couple of the night... Jay and Sheila Recasata

and the rest of organizing committee . Despite being busy with your own careers you worked tirelessly in making this event a successful one.

Im sure it was such a short 4 day event to share  all the things that happened between med school and our lives thereafter....
nevertheless a great timing for renewal of our friendship and comradeship.

Afterall behind the smile of everyone were years of gained wisdom and learned experience.

Everyone is still estatic and probably have gone back to their own home be it here or abroad ...filled with happy memories to cherish in the years to come.

Although we already have "closure" of this years event let this be the beginning of renewed acquiantanceship,  bonding and lasting friendship.

Hail Batch 91!
Hail our Alma Mater FEU NRMF!

See you all again!
