Last December I had an opportunity to witness a rare occasion of a mass wedding held at St. Martin orphanage.
Rev Fr Boyet Concepcion officiated the ceremony and initiated the idea of this mass wedding as he wants them to be officially and spiritually blessed.
Its like a scene in the movie as the blushing bride's await for their grooms. The simplicity of the church made this a very solemn ceremony.
Every bride and groom looked radiant in their best attire. Their children and families acted as secondary sponsors. They were even serenaded by the choir and violin ensemble of St. Martin.
The honourable Mayor Arnel Mendoza stood as principal sponsors to all the couples. He also gifted them their wedding rings.
May they live happily ever after.
